Colt M1911A1


A slightly aged M1911A1 Semi Automatic Pistol. I designed this pistol with a modern Low-poly design, textured it realistically, and then combined the diffuse and normal map, and crunched down the map size.

  • Low-poly model built in 3ds Max.

  • Texturing In Substance Painter

  • Rendered with Arnold in 3ds Max

  • Combined and crunched textures in Photoshop (Shown under the “Remember to Forget” section

  • Model consists of 3,998-5,918 tris, depending on how many rounds it’s holding

  • Render is using a 4k Map, although at it’s low poly count I’d recommend one use a 1-2k map since it’s better used for non first-person games.
